Once upon a time, a certain Pegasus loved nature. She was born with a tight bound to caring for fauna and flora alike, living in pristine harmony with the natural world. And legends say, that when her time of passing came, she trotted deep into the Everfree. Coming across a small clearing, she laid down and peacefully drifted into the unknown. Soon a canary dropped a seed from the sky that landed on her wings. Her very essence became that of a sapling as the ends of her rosy mane weaved themselves into the soil, becoming roots as it anchored itself to the ground. Her wings became longer and skinnier growing skywards, hardening and turning into that of a tree trunk. The feathers stretched out and split off into branches. A little tree to grow up from her back, while birds were attracted and built nests atop it. Her body remained untarnished as the years went by, never decomposing. It is said that her cutie mark; three butterflies; became living creatures and flittered away into the air. To this day the tree is still around and will be immortal, hidden away somewhere in the maze of the Everfree.
